Let's Hear it for the Cheerleaders!

Today is a big day for me, I mean, um for Alli. It's finally here -- her big debut on the 7th grade basketball cheerleading squad! She was so excited that the school held a pep assembly this afternoon, and I was touched when Alli specifically asked if I could be there. I said, "No, my soap opera is on then....." Oh, I kid -- I wouldn't miss it for the world!!

She was even the most graceful cheerleading sitter, if you ask me...... but I know I'm biased.

This stage of life is fun. Days like this are a reward to this mommy's heart.
